Rat Soup is a six-piece funk and soul band from Long Beach, California, delivering horn-driven grooves and original music for more than a decade.

Formed in 2012, Rat Soup has built a reputation across Southern California for tight, high-energy performances rooted in classic funk and soul. The band's catalog of originals spans three releases: the debut EP For the Record (2012), released on their own Milford Street Records; the full-length Enjoy! (2017); and the twelve-track Here's to You (2025). From club stages to festival crowds, including repeat appearances along the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series courses in Las Vegas and San Diego, Rat Soup brings a seasoned rhythm section, punchy horns, and a songbook built for the dance floor.
